Sweet Mother of Goodness

Ok,
So as you all know, well my one follower, you know, I have been vegetarian for 20 FULL days now. Quite the accomplishment if you know my track record. It has been difficult, some days I wake up craving a burger so bad I almost claw my eyes out...NOT pretty. But I've been doing it so I am pretty proud of myself.
Now I am saved. I recently was talking with a coworker about expanding my horizons, he said I needed to venture out and try something new with my palette. I was all, listen up homeboy, I just turned vegetarian, if that isn't expanding call me aunt freaking jamima. But whatever. We started talking about me being meat-less and how everyone always asks about it and how I deal with my cravings, which leads back to the eye gouging story. But we continued our conversation and he led me to the light. I have a serious addiction to Chinese food and have been lost without it. Until my glorious friend Matthew told me about Crystal Jade. It is a Chinese restaurant that serves vegan friendly dishes, meaning they are a little different from what I'm used to, but I'll take it just to get that small rush of what I used to feel for the food.

After that I did more research and found an awesome website. www.veganomaha.com This site makes my life. It has amazing blog posts, events, and a bomb restaurant guide, which means I can actually eat out again and fulfill every craving I have. Which leads to one glorious thing, no more eye gouging. Check it out
